Sinbon Private Limited was founded in 1999 by Mr. Sinnathurai Nagarajah, a distinguished industrialist. The company began in the industrial development zone of Vavuniya, Sri Lanka, with a vision to offer the local community high-quality bakery products at affordable prices. Mr. Nagarajah’s inspiration came during a trip to Japan, where he attended a bakery exhibition. This sparked his passion to create a bakery in Vavuniya, serving nutritious, high-standard baked goods.

 

The name “Sinbon” is a combination of his parents’ names, Sinnathurai and Ponnamma. Initially, the company specialized in producing bread, buns, and dry bakery items. Over the years, Sinbon expanded significantly, now operating eight outlets in Vavuniya. In 2014, the company expanded further by opening another bakery under the name White Stone in Kilinochchi, which also established six outlets.

 

Throughout its growth, Sinbon has stayed true to its mission: delivering hygienic, clean, and premium bakery products to its customers, ensuring both quality and affordability. Today, the company continues its growth trajectory with the ambition of establishing more outlets and distributing widely while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction through exceptional hygiene and quality.
